Welcome to Komprixo. These Terms of Use govern your use of the Komprixo image compression application and website (collectively, the "Service").

By using Komprixo, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with these Terms of Use, please do not use the Service.

License and Use of the Service

Subject to these Terms of Use, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to download, install, and use the Komprixo application for your personal or internal business purposes.

You agree not to:

Modify, disassemble, decompile, or reverse engineer the Service
Remove, alter, or obscure any proprietary notices on the Service
Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any local, state, national, or international law
Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its related systems or networks
Use the Service to transmit any viruses, worms, defects, Trojan horses, or other items of a destructive nature

User Content

Komprixo processes images locally on your device and does not upload your images to any servers. You retain all rights to your images and other content you process using Komprixo.

You are solely responsible for all images and other content that you process using the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that:

You own or have the necessary licenses, rights, consents, and permissions to use and process all images and other content with the Service
The images and other content do not and will not infringe, violate, or misappropriate any third-party intellectual property rights or other proprietary rights
The images and other content comply with these Terms of Use and all applicable laws

Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR COURSE OF PERFORMANCE.

Komprixo does not warrant that:

The Service will function uninterrupted, secure, or available at any particular time or location
Any errors or defects will be corrected
The Service is free of viruses or other harmful components
The results of using the Service will meet your requirements

Limitation of Liability

IN NO EVENT SHALL KOMPRIXO, ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, PARTNERS, AGENTS, SUPPLIERS, OR AFFILIATES, BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM:

Your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service
Any conduct or content of any third party on the Service
Any content obtained from the Service
Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content

WHETHER BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, WHETHER OR NOT WE HAVE BEEN INFORMED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGE, AND EVEN IF A REMEDY SET FORTH HEREIN IS FOUND TO HAVE FAILED OF ITS ESSENTIAL PURPOSE.

Changes to Terms of Use

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms of Use at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.

By continuing to access or use our Service after any revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, you are no longer authorized to use the Service.

Third-Party Open Source Software Notice

Komprixo uses the following open-source software:

These software are provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. By using this product, you accept the relevant license terms of these software.

Komprixo does not require open-sourcing. Although pngquant is licensed under the GPL, the App downloads it over the network and invokes it via NSTask. This interaction does not involve direct code linking (e.g., static or dynamic libraries), so the App is not considered a derivative work under the GPL and is not required to be open-sourced.
